Getting Ready for the New School Year
Wednesday, August 6
11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
OSBA Office, Columbus
Cost: $15, includes lunch
OSBA and NSPRA/Ohio are teaming up to help newly appointed school communicators start their careers off on the right foot. Send your rookie school communication specialists or directors to meet some of the state’s leading school communication experts.
The forum is designed to connect those new to the field with veterans — current and former Ohio leaders in the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA) — to help rookies do their jobs better. Learn which school PR vets to turn to for help with a crisis, publications, media relations, board relations, staff communication or any of the many issues facing school communicators. Learn who to call at the Ohio Department of Education for information.
OSBA and NSPRA/Ohio are providing this program — including workshop materials and lunch — at a reduced fee.
